NOMINATIONS
THE MUGSOSA NOMINATION POOL OF CANDIDATES

Dear MUGSOSANS,
We have 222 members present in Plenum, members who are indeed aware of the ongoing nominations to various posts, and the impending elections. However, we also notice just a paltry 96 members in the Registered Members’ Forum, members who are registered.
This leaves us with a somewhat thin NOMINATION POOL, to choose candidates from. We can notice that there are some potential candidates who are not yet registered. This doesn’t augur well for us, as a people and for the democratic process in hand.
The SG wish to call on unregistered members to kindly register and give the selection bank a broader base to choose candidates from, while concomitantly ensuring a change of status from Unregistered to Registered members, with the accruing advantages such as, but not limited to, right to be nominated, to nominate and to be voted.
We of the MG are also aware that a number of MUGSOSANS have had their Lifetime registration and Annual dues paid by third-party well-wishers. We applaud this and would like to encourage such benevolence. Thanks in advance.
